NRF grows energy and resources practice
Global firm Norton Rose Fulbright has added two more corporate M&A partners in Perth as part of its expansion of its energy and resources team.

Jessica Davies and David Jewkes have joined NRF as partners, at a time that managing partner Wayne Spanner sees “positive signs of growth in the Australian energy and resources industries”, and for general corporate activity in Perth.
“We now have one of the most dynamic energy and resources practices in Perth and nationally in Australia, which is providing ideal support for clients as they seek to invest in a more buoyant market.”
Ms Davies joins the firm from global competitor Clifford Chance, where she has most recently been based in its Perth office. She is admitted to practise in both Australia and New York, NRF noted, and has spent many years working across Australia, the US, Asia, Europe and Africa.
Mr Jewkes previously worked for Norton Rose Fulbright in Perth, Melbourne and Hong Kong, and also completed secondments with the Takeovers Panel in Melbourne and resources company South32 in Perth.
The appointments follow other partnership announcements for the firm. In January, Claire Forster and Lisa Koch were promoted to partner, and shortly after, Holly McAdam, Richard Morrison and Martin Taylor all become partners in the firm’s Canberra office.
