Russell Kennedy has advised The Haven Community Limited on the sale of its aged care, home care and retirement living businesses to Catholic Healthcare Limited.

Deal: The Haven Community Limited (The Haven) has sold its aged care, home care and retirement living businesses, and associated land, to Catholic Healthcare Limited (Catholic Healthcare).

Key players: The Russell Kennedy team was led by principal Solomon Miller and special counsel Rory Maguire, with assistance from principal Rosemary Southgate and senior associates Morgan Scholz and Abbey Burns.

Deal significance: This transaction comes after a strategic review was conducted by the board of The Haven as to how the company would continue its focus on affordable housing, with an emphasis on assisting other community organisations in the area.
