International firm nabs former Gadens duo to launch new division
A partner and a senior associate, both previously from Gadens Brisbane, have been hired by an international law firm to head up its new division.

MinterEllison Gold Coast has confirmed it has hired Paul Muscat and Craig Tanzer as a partner and senior associate, respectively. The pair join the Minters office from Gadens Brisbane. Prior to this, Mr Muscat and Mr Tanzer worked together at Colin Biggers & Paisley.
The new construction, infrastructure and procurement team will work closely with MinterEllison Gold Coast’s environment and planning team, property team and dispute resolution team, in an effort to provide collaborative solutions for clients.
Mr Muscat brings more than 25 years’ experience to the new role, having advised government departments, developers, principals and contractors on major infrastructure, construction and engineering projects across a broad range of sectors and contracting models, according to a statement from the firm.
Meanwhile, Mr Tanzer brings 10 years’ experience to his new role, having advised on numerous construction law matters, including multimillion-dollar disputes in the Queensland Courts of Appeal (QCA).
Commenting on the decision to join Minters, Mr Muscat praised the MinterEllison Gold Coast’s culture as a major drawcard.
