Aston Consult names new executive director
Aston Consult has announced it has hired a new executive director, who will head up its expert witness and dispute management service stream.
The business has named Simon J. Lowe as its new executive director, bringing with him 29 years’ experience.
Throughout his career, Mr Lowe has frequently sat on Dispute Adjudication Boards, both solely and as a member of a panel, and is highly proficient in claims preparation and management, dispute resolution and avoidance, and contract and commercial management, according to a statement from Aston Consult.
“Simon has 29 years of experience, gained on a number of large-scale civil engineering projects, including mass rapid transit systems, roads, tunnels and bridges; together with a variety of building projects, including airports, hotels, hospitals, offices, industrial units and residential developments. Simon also has experience of managing disputes and claims on oil and gas projects,” the statement said.
“[He] has delivered a number of seminars to major international organisations on contract and commercial management and dispute resolution best practices and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), and the Chartered Institute of Building (FCIOB).
“The appointment of Simon marks a major milestone in Aston Consult’s long-term expansion objectives and will enable us to continue to fulfil our vision of providing excellent professional services and exceeding our client’s expectations.”
