The global law firm has recruited senior associate Ankush Chauhan to its Melbourne office, bringing with him a wealth of experience in aviation and marine law, as well as commercial litigation.

Throughout his career, Mr Chauhan has advised on the full spectrum of sector issues including litigated and non-litigated passenger and third party claims, major incidents, cargo claims, contractual disputes, recoveries, public liability claims and collisions, according to a statement from Clyde & Co.

“Clyde & Co’s aviation and marine team are market leading and at the forefront of industry issues,” Mr Chauhan said, commenting on his new role.

“I’m excited to join such a client-focused, forward-thinking team and to make a valuable contribution to Clyde & Co.”

Maurice Thompson, partner and national group head of maritime, aviation, commodities and oil and gas congratulated Mr Chauhan on his new role.

“We are delighted Ankush has chosen to join Clyde & Co for the next chapter in his career,” Mr Thompson said.

“We are sure his expertise and commercial mindset will be of benefit to our clients.”
