The national firm has welcomed Elliot Raleigh to the partnership, joining from Kemp Strang where he was also a partner. Prior to Kemp Strang, Mr Raleigh worked at the London offices of both Clayton Utz and Allen & Overy.

In announcing his appointment, Gadens CEO Grant Scott-Hayward said Mr Raleigh is a vital addition to the banking and finance team.

“Elliot’s appointment is an important step for the expansion of our banking and finance group,” Mr Scott-Hayward said.

“Elliot specialises in construction and investment property finance, corporate finance, project finance and acquisition finance, with a wide range of clients including Australian and overseas financial institutions and borrowers.

“His experience covers a broad range of industries including aged care, health care, financial and business services, manufacturing, property investment and development, and retail.

“With the appointment of Elliot to our Banking and Finance Group, we also foresee a number of synergies across our specialist offerings for both our corporate and banking clients. We are delighted to welcome Elliot to Gadens,” concluded Mr Scott-Hayward.

Commenting on his decision to join Gadens, Mr Raleigh said: “Gadens has a well-established and recognised national banking practice that includes strong relationships with all of the major financiers operating in the Australian market”.

“The firm has a strong strategic outlook as well as a supportive and collaborative culture which I look forward to being a part of,” he said.
