Ashurst has taken out the honour of being awarded the LegalVitae Most Popular Clerkship Employer Award at the annual Top100 Graduate Employers and Future Leaders Awards.

The firm was crowned at an event held in Sydney’s Ivy Ballroom earlier this month, which brings together Australia’s major graduate industry stakeholders to celebrate top talent, employers and universities.

In winning the award, Ashurst has demonstrated that it holds the highest number of Australian university students signing up to its clerkship program each year through the LegalVitae platform.

“We are delighted to be Australia’s most popular clerkship employer,” said Ashurst head of HR, Australia, Richard Knox.

“It is fantastic recognition of the firm’s commitment to recruiting top-tier talent and providing a valuable program for our clerks.”

At the same event, Ashurst presented its prestigious Ashurst Law Award to student Jessica White from the University of Technology (UTS) after a “rigorous testing process to determine she is the law student category leader in the Top100 Future Leaders Competition,” a statement from the firm said.

The competition allows participating students to try out an actual graduate recruitment process.

“It was a pleasure to present the Ashurst Law Award to Jessica White from UTS, who is a deserving candidate for the award recognition,” said Mr Knox in congratulating Ms White.
