CHAMP Private Equity has been advised on its sale of Golding Group to an ASX-listed company.

Deal: CHAMP Private Equity (CHAMP) has been advised on its sale of Golding Group to NRW Holdings Limited.

Key players: The King & Wood Mallesons legal team was led by partners Mark McNamara and Matt Coull, with assistance from senior associate Will Stawell and associate Laura Bonnici.

Deal significance: In this transaction, King & Wood Mallesons is advising funds managed or advised by CHAMP on the sale of Golding Group to NRW Holdings Limited, a statement from the firm said.

NRW Holdings Limited is an ASX-listed company.

Meanwhile, Golding Group currently employs approximately 700 staff across Queensland and New South Wales, who work in the civil, mining and urban sectors.

“We were delighted to be engaged by our long-term client CHAMP to work on the Golding sale,” said King & Wood Mallesons partner Mark McNamara.

“Golding is a leading operator in the civil, mining and urban contracting sector and will no doubt form an important and valuable addition for NRW.”
