HR platform attracts multimillion-dollar investment
A Silicon Valley-based venture capital company has invested in an employee platform with operations in Australia, the US and the UK.

Deal significance: Sapphire Ventures is a Silicon Valley-based venture capital company. Bird & Bird advised Sapphire Ventures on its US$20 million Series C round financing of the employee feedback and analytics platform Culture Amp.
Culture Amp has operations in Australia, the UK and the US. Its clients include Airbnb, Adobe, Estée Lauder and Lyft.
Existing investors, including Index Ventures, Felicis Ventures and Blackbird Ventures, also participated in the funding round. Culture Amp intends to invest the funds in its analytics technology and growing its team.
