National firm adds senior corporate partner
Piper Alderman has welcomed a new partner to its national corporate practice team.

Andrew Rankin has taken on the role in the firm’s Brisbane office, having most recently held a position at DibbsBarker. Prior to this, Mr Rankin worked at Norton Rose Fulbright for over 10 years as a partner.
In addition, Mr Rankin has advised both private companies and publicly listed companies, particularly in the financial services, healthcare, aged care and agribusiness sectors, the statement said.
Head of Piper Alderman’s Brisbane office, Ted Williams, said it was a great pleasure to welcome Mr Rankin to the team.
“Over the past five years, we have been strategically building our Brisbane office through a series of senior partner appointments. The addition of Andrew will further cement Piper Alderman as a serious player in the Brisbane legal market,” Mr Williams said.
“Culturally, Andrew is a great fit for our firm.”
Meanwhile, Piper Alderman national managing partner Tony Britten-Jones said that Mr Rankin will further enhance the firm’s corporate offering, not only to the Brisbane market, but also nationally.
