Pizza Hut swoops in on competitor
The Australian master franchisee for Pizza Hut has acquired the Eagle Boys business from its administrators.

Deal significance:
Eagle Boys administrators have overseen the acquisition of Eagle Boys by Pizza Hut. The successful closing of the deal will take Pizza Hut’s total store count to more than 320, with the rebranding of over 50 Eagle Boys shopfronts.
HSF advised Pizza Hut on the transaction, with specialist advice concerning M&A matters, restructuring, IP and financing.
Lead partner Mark Currell described the deal as a “strategic acquisition” and said that his team was delighted to have assisted.
“[This] acquisition has created opportunities to grow the distribution and brand presence of Pizza Hut in Australia,” Mr Currell said.
