Digital media group launches on ASX
Hall & Wilcox has advised Netccentric Limited on its IPO and listing on the Australian Stock Exchange.
Firms: Hall & Wilcox (Netccentric)
Value: Not disclosed
Area: Banking and finance
Key players: Partner Danny Herceg (pictured) lead the team, assisted by lawyer Maximillian Chung and graduate lawyer Rebecca Schot-Guppy.
Deal significance: Netccentric operates a digital media business in Australia, southeast Asia, China and the UK, with the aim of being the biggest social media advertising firm in Asia Pacific, according to Hall & Wilcox.
The IPO was oversubscribed and shares traded at a 25 per cent premium upon listing, the firm reported.
Mr Herceg said his team had navigated some tricky cross-border questions in securing the deal.
“There were some issues, particularly around managing due diligence in the various jurisdictions and listing a Singaporean, rather than Australian-incorporated, company,” he said.
“Our team’s experience and commitment were vital in meeting key deadlines and coordinating the listing process and the many stakeholders involved.”
Right Click Capital management acted as the corporate adviser, while Patersons Securities were the lead manager and RSM Bird Cameron were the investigating accountant.
