Six firms act on golden capital raising
Allens and King & Wood Mallesons were two of six law firms that advised on the equity capital raising of Canada-based OceanaGold.

Stikeman Elliott acted as Canadian counsel and Dorsey & Whitney acted as US counsel for the joint lead underwriters. Fasken Martineau acted as Canadian counsel, and Sullivan Cromwell also acted as US counsel for OceanaGold.
Deal significance: Canada-based OceanaGold, which is listed on the TSX, ASX and NZX, has three operating gold mines and a portfolio of assets located in New Zealand and the Philippines. Proceeds from its capital raising will be used to pay outstanding debt and provide balance sheet and operating flexibility.
