Law firm Maddocks has partnered with one of the best-known brands in the world, UK chef Jamie Oliver.
The Good Foundation, who has partnered with Jamie Oliver and The Good Guys to establish Jamie’s Ministry of Food centres throughout Australia, has appointed Maddocks as their sole legal adviser and partner.
The foundation sets out to promote good health and nutrition, and has set out to boost Jamie’s Ministry of Food across Australia.
The Ministry of Food, designed by Oliver as a solution to the rising issue of obesity and diet-related disease, teaches basic cooking skills and educates people to make healthier food choices.
Alicia Peardon, Jamie's Ministry of Food Australia program director said the organisations wants to partnerships with organisations that have the necessary expertise and that share an understanding for what it’s trying to achieve.
“Maddocks not only has a long history in working within the health sector, but also a commitment to the community and to their social responsibility,” she said.
According to David Rennick Maddocks CEO: "We are very excited by the prospect of working together with The Good Foundation to help them to achieve their goal of making our country, a healthier and happier place. We believe one good partnership can make all the difference."
In April of this year, The Good Foundation opened the first Australian centre in Ipswich, Queensland, with plans to establish both permanent and mobile centres in every State.
