Henry Davis York has advised Global Television as it signs a deal with Nine Network that will see the company facilitate the Nine productions at Global's Docklands Studios in Melbourne.
The multi-year deal will involve Global Television providing broadcasting equipment and technical expertise to all Nine's Melbourne studio productions.
Henry Davis York partner, Geoffrey Hilton was lead legal adviser on the agreement along with senior associate, Peter Mulligan.
Hilton said the agreement was a natural extension of the technical broadcast services relationship between Global Television and Nine, noting that Global Television had already been involved in the production of Hot Seat and The Footy Show for Nine.
Global Television CEO Keith Andrews said Melbourne has been an important part of the Nine network’s history.
“Global Television is all about bringing compelling content to life, and Nine’s Docklands Studios are an exceptional environment for our studio and broadcast technical expertise to shine, delivering a winning production solution for Nine.”
